MJ Burrows was born in Yellowknife, N.W.T. As a child she wandered the banks of the North Saskatchewan River collecting rocks and telling stories to the wind. After a 40 year career as an educator and resident of Calgary, Alberta, MJ moved to Saltair, Vancouver Island, BC. The sea and trees as inspiration, MJ continues to explore her poetic voice. You will find MJ in her garden or walking rainforest trails, journal and camera in hand. This is her first chapbook of poems.
