It is clear that we all need to take more time to play! This issue seemed to emerge as a tribute to playing ~ the freedom it offers and all that it teaches us. From discoveries in the studio while working on one thing … to find I have created something else unexpected … to seeing what emerges from playing with small plastic discs that go around and around.
There is a beautiful mandala story from a woman who shared her colour pack with a group of friends, and the gift that came out of that. Of course, there are lots of mandalas to share … on new items that I have created, including a calendar and some writing papers! Lots to see and learn, I promise!

I've shared some email etiquette that recently came into my sphere ... personal experience is sometimes best shared! And that being said, I explore the change and deep realizations, after having cataract surgery earlier this year. A new section this issue ... Fountain Pen Wisdom ... yes completely written out with several of my favourite fountain pens.
There are Timeless Toys and some wisdom from my art and design career ... discoveries of fun things and about my ways in the world. A book review of The Midnight Library by Matt Haig, and a lovely poem by my copy editor and life partner Mary Ann Moore, "Once I Thought I Had so Much to Accomplish" ... and the hand lettered back cover, which is always so much fun to do!
